Join us for free medical assistant classes! Includes Phlebotomy Technician and Elecrtocardiogram Technician training.

Classes are taught by instructors from the Finlay Medical Training Institute and are held onsite at the Institute at 6421 Bergenline Avenue, 2nd Floor.

Classes are held Monday through Friday from 2 PM to 6 PM. Majority class attendance is mandatory. 

Classes begin on September 8th and will finish at the end of December.

These free classes are open to all NJ residents over the age of 18. Bilingual option is available.

Preference given to students who are low-income, unemployed, SNAP/TANF eligible, single parents, disabled, English-language learners,etc (see registration form for full list). If you do not qualify, you will be manually placed on our wait list. Wait List students will be informed (if they are accepted) the week before classes are due to begin.

Classes are funded by the NJ Dept of Labor and Workforce Development via the Adult Literacy and Community Library Partnership Grant Program.

Las clases son impartidas por instructores del Instituto de Formación Médica Finlay y se imparten en el Instituto, ubicado en 6421 Bergenline Avenue, 2.º piso.

Las clases se imparten de lunes a viernes de 14:00 a 18:00 h. La majorita asistencia a clase es obligatoria.

Las clases comienzan el 8 de septiembre y finalizan a finales de diciembre.

Estas clases gratuitas están abiertas a todos los residentes de Nueva Jersey mayores de 18 años. Hay opción bilingüe disponible.

Se da preferencia a estudiantes de bajos ingresos, desempleados, elegibles para SNAP/TANF, padres solteros, estado de discapacidad, estudiantes de inglés, (consulte el formulario de inscripción para obtener la lista completa). Si no cumple los requisitos, se le incluirá en nuestra lista de espera. Se les informará a los estudiantes en lista de espera (si son aceptados) la semana anterior al inicio de las clases.

Las clases son financiadas por el Departamento de Trabajo y Desarrollo Laboral de Nueva Jersey a través del Programa de Subvenciones para la Alfabetización de Adultos y la Asociación de Bibliotecas Comunitarias.
